Inductive Charging on the Move – a Project by INTIS and Partners
The figure below shows the schematic arrangement of our 25m long test track that was created as part of a pioneering project investigating dynamic inductive charging. A magnetically linked primary and secondary system ensure a continuous and reliable transfer of energy from road to vehicle. A vehicle based energy management system can then route the transferred energy straight to the drive motor, or use it to charge the on board battery.
